It must be over 50years ago that I came across the aphorism of the Saudi business man who said his father rode a camel, he drove a Mercedes, his son had his own helicopter and in the fullness of time his son will ride a camel.

Jiang comes from the world of History, and must be well aware that his subject is always written by the winners. As an Engineer, I come from the black and white world of thermodynamics and have known for over 60years that the first decades of this century would be conditioned by a collapse in the availability of exergy. As most people can only act in the world if they are given a good story, what better story for the religious nut jobs of the US to get behind than rebuilding the Temple.

Most people here, in the Western world, seem to lack an understanding of the enormous underlying forces at work at the geopolitical level but my own two daughters are well aware that they will be riding bicycles before not too long.

being we are in the Church age of Mystery there are zero old testament prophecies being fulfilled now.

Zionist christians are mistaken. King David never used a star the zionists use. That star is a pagan star of the human sacrifice cult of the Epstein Island banker types; scripture tells us the same pedophile cannibals using that star then are the same ones using the star TODAY

“Yea ye took up the tabernacle of Moloch and the star of your god Remphan I will carry you away beyond Babylon” Acts 7 vs 43

We know the imposters of the Hebrews by their behavior as scripture describes biblical hebrews vs the Synagogue of Satan.

God scattered the Hebrews for their rebellion.

In TIME NOW God is not working on the Hebrews alone as he was in the Old Testament

God includes EVERYONE in this time; there is no jew or gentile NOW

Signs and wonders and prophecies were for the jews during the Old Testament.

Gentiles have faith so we don’t need or get signs, wonders, prophecies.

Attached is the Clarence Larkin Timeline with the red arrow showing we are in the dispensation, the time when the descendents of the biblical hebrews today are scattered among us, among the nations.

The Hebrews are on hold until AFTER the rapture of 1st Corinthians 15: 1-4 Believers. Then God activates the Hebrews to be the next round of Ambassadors for the Living Victorious Lord Jesus Christ.

Being the Arabs of Gaza are the only semites in the room, I think it is they who are the jews of the future. The Revelation of Lord Jesus Christ tells how he will remove the veil so the Semites will know he is God.

The bible warns many times of imposter satan worshippers that pretend to be jews. Obviously demon worshipping star cult zionists fail to be the people of the Book, they practice unthinkable abominations that are against all the laws of the OT. Zionists fail to believe in the Prime Creator of the Old Testement yet claim he gave them the Middle East…

Satanic logic.

John Webb's avatar

That 'exergy' is I assume a typo, but if not you have coined a new, resonant word

Paul Downey's avatar

John, the term exergy refers to the amount of energy available to society. 80 years ago, when I was born, if you invested a barrel of oil in oil production facilities that oil well might well return 150 barrels, so 149 barrels available to society. Fast forward to today and a barrel invested in Alberta tar sands might yield 4 barrels so just 3 available to society. So although the amount of oil being produced hasn't dropped very much in those 80 years the amount available to society is starting to go off a cliff.

But it is much, much worse than that!

Stuff built with that oil, 80 years ago is all worn/wearing out and needs replacing. The whole built environment; so the amount available for "growth" or even feeding people is severely restricted.

Ask 100,000 people what the economy runs on and 95,000 will say money, 4,999 will say energy and just 1 will say exergy.

In the late 1960s I worked for HMG in long-range planning and discussed the need for a device, such as a world wide pandemic to manage the collapse Geologists were saying would occur during the first decades of this century.

Welcome to my world.

John Webb's avatar

Thank you Paul for enlightening me from a small part of my ignorance. This exergy struck me as a typo simply because I had not yet encountered it in its proper usage. The end of oil is nigh.

Clueless Honky's avatar

The end of oil is not nigh.

The end of oil that is cheap (to consumers) and profitable (to producers) is nigh.

Basically because of the diminishing energy return on energy invested, as Paul Downey explained so well above.

We won't run out of oil. We'll run out of oil that we can afford to drill and use.

Paul Downey's avatar

While Starmer/Reeves/Badenoch may all seem totally incompetent, I think you can be sure that anyone who matters is well up to speed on the exergy crisis, and that the concept of energy available to the economy versus energy produced will never be allowed into the public domain.

In other words the Punch and Judy show called the House of Commons is now pure theatre, like so much else of our public life.

They are all in the same club and we aren't in it! Not a club that I would won't to join, anyway.

varun bhardwaj's avatar

Loved your explanations, would like to read more if you have written anywhere on it. Very interesting concept.

Paul Downey's avatar

Varun, for an in depth plunge in to depths of exergy you can do no better than check out the work of Dr Tim Morgan at Surplus Energy Economics. Anyone who understands exergy understands the need for the recent medical emergency plus Gaza and the need to invade Iran.

IMHO things are going to get worse before they get much worse.

There's something funny about Jiang. I wonder why he has no problem with the dozen AI spinoff channels on youtube, spouting portions of his ideas sometimes coherently and sometimes not. His predictions are also broad and varied enough that he can claim to have predicted just about anything that happens.

To his credit, he does a good job of jumping between intuitive, conspiracy-aware, big-picture frameworks and rational analyses using historical patterns. This alone will generate pretty good ideas, superior to the one-sided analyses more commonly found.

In any case, how does it help any of us to continue to develop agency, develop life plans, build a parallel society and alternative future?

Jan Wellmann's avatar

Excellent question we have to ponder individually

TomDragon's avatar

Also. I find it interesting how much Jiang's stuff is pushed on Yt. Like completely nuts. It got so bad I basically started to push Not Interested or Block buttons on channels and videos….AND I STILL GET HIS STUFF?! THE FUCK?! I am suspicious about any agenda that Big Tech/NSA tries to push on me. So I am automatically sus of Jiang. One more thing: Jiang went full blood libel and promoting Protocols of the Elders of Sion on his substack (autheticated, it was definitely him) before he deleted it about 6 months ago.

I am enormously suspicious of him.

Bill Bradford's avatar

Regardless of WHO ACTUALLY penned those "Protocols", if you've read them, and understand them, it's obvious that the "Protocols" ARE SOMEBODY's playbook....

I wish I’d saved it but someone wrote a very convincing article on here about how he’s CIA. Traced his education and parallels of how he’s pushed on YT, etc.

tommy1300's avatar

Do you think China (where he resides), would let a CIA Op, for want of a better word, operate?

B. Scott Chapman's avatar

I don’t think it works like that. Whatever he is, the way they promote him and some of things he says are very suspicious and in line with psyops.

Tommy Jensen's avatar

So you need an Authority to trust. You cannot just evaluate the true facts or not true facts of his analysis? You need someone with a professor title from Yale or Harvard yes?

You are talking and living in propaganda terms. "Jiang is more promoted on YT than some(thing) else". Why he is suspicious.

No. Jiang is not suspicious. He is rational, and invite to be corrected if anybody mean they have a more logic explanation.

TomDragon's avatar

I do not trust American, Russian, Chinese, or BigEU outlets. But good "gotcha" attempt. I give you that. Jiang has a degree from Yale....let that sink in for you. Yale is the CIA spy school.

Dawn M Sparks's avatar

The professor has explained his entire life to the class and on his videos he’s explained the corrupt elite Yale system and how it operates. He’s explained it better than anyone I’ve ever come across 🤔

TomDragon's avatar

And then fucks it up by going full Blood Libel Mein Kampf. He is still a stooge for the CIA. He is deep cover.

Dawn M Sparks's avatar

Okay, and I’ve often said to everyone you know why isn’t this guy dead yet if he’s not corrupted, but I’m downloading the information because it’s gonna make fascinating class for my grandchildren. So, What do I need to hear about him to be worried about? because the information that he provides I usually 100% agree with especially when he goes deep into religion, and how evil sadistic it all is.. and I’m asking with full sincerity and I am open to any information that I can get. I am here to be a sponge and soak it up.

Tommy Jensen's avatar

Precisely. His best assessment. What more can a man do?

Hannah Vincent's avatar

His meta-narrative predictions are interesting and clearly accurate on several points. But when he starts digging into the details of specific historical events it becomes obvious that his predictions aren't at all related to history, which is what he's claiming to do ("Predictive History" is what he calls it). He frequently gets timelines and event details completely wrong. Especially in regards to US and Russian history. I don't care that he's not some credentialed history authority, but I do think it's odd that he's historically ignorant.

Tommy Jensen's avatar

Off course you and several others are correct. But I see it this way that none of us are perfect! We are all misguided mistreated in our various societies.

What Jiang and we can give is small puzzles of truth so we get further in life.

For example Jiangs lecture on "The dangeorus man of all times (Christ)" gave me a lot (not perfect but a lot) which I am grateful for.

Same with some of his other videos. We exchange our true knowledge to help (love) our neighbour ;-).

How about this; once the GCC and the house of Saud can no longer supply their energy clients, petroleum becomes the most precious resource on earth, and only the Americas can meet worldwide demand. We drop global pricing and use the energy needs of the rest of the world to erase our ridiculous debt. Granted, predatory, but we can keep our lights on and feed ourselves, a luxury the rest of the world can’t say. Oh, and we stop the hate Russia nonsense and bring them into our cartel to insure pricing stability.

There is nothing in his works that biblical prophesy has not already foretold. He is not a great prognosticators. He is a history major who is paying attention to the world around him. Tommy Jensen's avatar

We Christians are not surprised by his prediction, we are surprised to find 1 guy who understand it as a whole, out of a billion blind sheeple and other skizos.

Marcus Aurin's avatar

Aside from Jiang's prophetic performance (& I think it is a very self conscious & deliberate performance--his tag is the prediction man), there is the supernatural media omnipresence he has miraculously achieved overnight. This is very weird & unnatural. The only thing that can underwrite & choreograph this kind of world-wide hyper visibility is heavy duty intelligence community connections, methinks.

TomDragon's avatar

THIS. He is pushed onto me on yt and reddit. Everywhere. I started to use the Block and Not Interested buttons for channels and videos for the first time in my life….AND I STILL GET HIS VIDEOS…WTF?!

This is sus as hell.

Marcus Aurin's avatar

The term "influencer" comes originally from intelligence operations. Jiang seems to be proclaiming himself as an influencer with obvious spook characteristics, as if he was being fielded to broadcast a message from a faction of the otherwise hidden deep state. Jiang, & his friend Tucker Carlson, appear to represent an anti-Israel faction active among CIA affiliates. I think the almost farcical obviousness is deliberate: this is a "clear" message being sent out to the sufficiently initiated (or initiate adjacent), cast as warning predictions/prophecy. Again, I think the brazen blatantness of Jiang's interventions is very deliberate & in our faces: it is loud & unavoidable on purpose.

youarewhatyouis's avatar

Jiang, & his friend Tucker Carlson & also Professor Mohammed Marandi.

3 big influencers.

Marcus Aurin's avatar

Marandi is certainly an interesting channel. Do you think these three belong to a particular intelligence faction? Also interesting how each of them occupies a national geopolitical role or voice: China, US, Iran, like characters in a play (book). Is this apparent anti-Israeli faction substantive, or just an act, one ring of the bigger circus show? The production values give one pause, no? It seems awfully theatrical...

youarewhatyouis's avatar

Absolutely. Not really controlled opposition. More like if someone is going to occupy a prime spot then ‘they’ (the powers that shouldn’t be) will be involved in promoting suitable talking heads for their propaganda purposes..

Marcus Aurin's avatar

Except that these 3 share a coherence seemingly in opposition to the Ellison mediascape orthodoxy. So, there's 'they' powers & them powers. Them powers are fielding influencers that look & sound critical of Israel, but it seems kinda stagey--is this really an alternative faction operating within the deep state, or just a setup? There are ample indications that all sorts of "antisemitic" agitprop has been actively astroturfing lately, one wonders if this might not be related?

Laura Hayes's avatar

100% controlled opposition

Marcus Aurin's avatar

Who's in control? Who is running Jiang?

TomDragon's avatar

This. And here is the fun part of the theory I have: he is NOT intended for Western audience. He is intended for Chinese elites who know english. My theory goes like this: the US state department years ago realized that the PRC top leadership figured out US "tricks" in how to get the US populace ti war mood and how to make your rivals throw the first punch (Tonkin and Pearl come to mind).....so the US StatDep had to get clever to make the Chinese elites think they can throw the first punch without issue. Cometh "Prof Jiang".

Andy Tannehill's avatar

I’ve been thinking about this as elevated opposition. Controlled algorithmically. Platformed. It can look organic to the people, he could even be unwittingly gamed in. Witting are a small population. 1% the unwitting make up the bulk of the team. You platform them, elevate influence, feed scraps of data that aligns with the program, flatter them, and they will keep pressing the cocaine button like a monkey.

DrFs's avatar

Mr. Jiang is plagiarizing the work of Christopher Jon Bjerknes and also Wolfgang Eggert. Both wrote many book about this topic. The fact that he doesn't mention either of them and also offers a rather superficial analysis (compared to the two actual experts on the subject) doesn't reflect well on him

Laura Skov's avatar

This supposed apocalyptic future is already here in Sweden. We are almost entirely cashless and almost all transactions require a verifiable, digital ID. There are no secrets, I’ll put it like that.

I dont know about Sweden specifically, but all across the West thetes a push to end all stigma against vices. Sex stuff normalised - no kink shaming! Including paedo adjacent things- legalisation of drugs, the only sin left is intolerance of others vices.

Who needs secrets then? Removes a huge portion of the potential push back.

JP MAXWELL's avatar

Let's not pat Professor Jiang on the back just yet. He is very knowledgeable. He speaks with marvelous intuition. However, his whole predictive abilities are based on completely false biblical eschatology. Premillennial Dispensationalism is just a very small piece of a very intricate scriptural analysis of the Judaic cultus. A history professor 30 years ago made much more acute predictions and analysis in his book, When Time Shall Be No More. Mr. Jiang is accurate to a degree, but has predicted nothing that many of us didn't also describe over the last 30 years. I do not wish to take anything away from Mr. Jiang. He is well-versed. But there is a reason his name is becoming recognized in certain circles. Whereas Paul Boyer made astute observations decades ago that have also come to pass. These things were spoken of with authority in the 1980s under Ronald Reagan. I was there. I know. Therefore, let's not get too excited with our modern-day Chinese Nostradamus. When you've been behind the mike on Tucker Carlson's podcast, for example, you should be asking one very important question. Is my view accommodating to the IC's psychological operations or detrimental to them? There is an easy answer. If they perpetuate the operation, then your name will become very well known.

Big jump from predicting VP Vance and Trump invading Iran (those tea leaves have been on display since his first term, and the movie 'W') to The End Of The World. He is correct about the American petrodollar, but anyone paying any kind of attention knows that. The rest is just The Algorithm and knowing what headlines sell, and the China summary seems written as a balm to dumb westerners who still think the only thing that matters is oil (it's officially done after this war). Prepare for a world where the US backed the wrong energy horse, and enjoy the triumph of renewable energy and electric vehicles technology, which can and do improve lives.

It's true that you have to accept that Bolshevism is alive and well and still going strong, a plot by the Elders of Zion still, to this day. Too much sci-fi here for most serious people.

Gary’S's avatar

Yeah. Plenty of people were initially attracted to the Substack platform in order to access science-fiction and esoteric and alchemical and spiritually transcendent & sublime writing. Others only are interested in politics. I’m just glad that, for now, the platform allows for (so-called) “free speech” aka uncensored speech.

Michael P Peck's avatar

Is that your hypothesis for why we’re seeing the two blended now? I’ve come across quite a bit.

Gary’S's avatar

In my opinion, it’s just about people who prefer the abstract (the noumenal) having different interests contrasted with those who prefer the concrete (the phenomenal). Someone recently mentioned that it was the “Notes” feature that ruined Substack.

One Man Riot's avatar

Here's a theory.

This is a demoralization campaign, simple information warfare. The guy is enlisted to make people feel passive and helpless. After all, who can stand up a plan thousands of years old which all major powers in the world have a part in?

Seed credibility with a few accurate predictions (it would actually be pretty easy to curate 'accurate' predictions without foreknowledge by predicting every possible outcome and deleting inaccurate predictions after the fact) then once credibility has been built leverage it ruthlessly. If this is what has happened expect Liang's accuracy to drop off over the next several months.

Demoralization by who? I don't know. But it's a bit odd for a state to sponsor this since there are plenty of conspiracy theorists willing do the same thing for free, from David Icke, to the nitwit Mike Yeadon, to Alex Jones. There are countless 'influencers' selling books, gold and survival supplies based on WW3 happening, economic collapse and mass depopulation which they have been predicting to be imminent for decades now.

Another thing is, saying that the Abrahamic religions share broad framework for the eschaton doesn't mean all that much. They all evolved from the same religion that came close to experiencing annihilation at the hands of the Romans around the time of Jesus. So of course they share the same broad framework for the end times seeded in response to that era, and have raised a number of false alarms in the past 2000 years.

Just because Muslims believe that a conflict like this may immanentize their version of the eschaton does not mean they actually want it to happen. Likewise there are Christians in America who may believe in the end times but would not actively seek it and Jews who are not so keen on Israel being annihilated to rebuild the temple. Kirill blessing tanks doesn't mean he wants to fulfil end times prophecies. You can interpret that as such, but acknowledge that it is a reach.

People of all political strips have forgotten covid very quickly. Just 5 years ago the vaxx was the mark of the beast, and were also killshots, and all dissidents were going to end up in camps and the world was going to be depopulated and the antichrist was going to ascend. A lot of the dialogue around the Iran war smacks of the same sulfurous hysteria.

An AI could come up with this after proper training.

25,000 years ago we were just people. All of us just surviving. No gog, bog, giants, nabob, nothing. Lightning sent people shivering and shaking to the back of their caves. Then, somehow, we did some myth-making magic and created all this narrative during either personal or societal schizoid breaks that we then started believing. Especially after we became hollowed out and glassy eyed after plagues or particularly gruesome centuries long slaughters and denigrations. At the time, we didn’t have the strength or wherewithal to understand biology or power. So mythology slipped into our families and cultures, “It’s out of our hands.” Then we started writing stuff down and that’s probably where it all went a little weird. Inbreeding? Monied patronage? Someone figured out that words became power. Then the children created a whole new layer of drivel and magic and money on top of the old myths. If we let these beliefs drive us all to jump off a cliff then we deserve extinction. The myths of the aborigines in Australia might be just as valid as ours only they never took them as destiny and no one tried to tell them they were supposed to reconstitute and rule. Australia is actually a really good place to think about because it was the last place colonized wasn’t it? We are all just simply people until someone tells us our story.
